Surrounded by his loving wife and three beautiful daughters, Eric has dedicated his life to serving his community. For 14 years, he taught special education at Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids, working everyday to level the playing field for all students.   For the past two years, Eric has been serving the City of Cedar Rapids as a patrol officer for the Cedar Rapids Police Department.  

In 2022, Eric was re-elected to the Iowa House of Representatives serving residents of the 74th District. ​
